Social Impact

Generosity here is structural, not solicited.

Built-in public benefit, made concrete and auditable — the defined share, the verified causes, and the record that proves both.

Most platforms treat public benefit as something added on top: a portion set aside afterward, an appeal made alongside, a figure announced once a year. Veraq is built the other way. A defined share of every outcome is allocated automatically to verified causes that participants choose, and each contribution is written to the open record as it happens.

There is no appeal here, and no asking. The share is part of how a wave works, not a gesture made beside it. What follows describes that share, how a cause earns its place on the record, and how to follow a contribution from outcome to cause yourself.

Built in, not solicited

Generosity that depends on being asked for is fragile. It rises and falls with attention, with the wording of the appeal, with whoever is watching. Veraq removes the appeal entirely. When a wave produces an outcome, the defined share is routed to a cause as a step of the mechanism, the same way every other step runs.

Because the routing is structural, it is also auditable. Each contribution carries the outcome it came from and the cause it reached, so the path is legible end to end. You are not asked to take the benefit on faith. You can read where it went.

Public benefit is part of the mechanism, not a plea made on top of it.

The defined share, explained

  1. 01

    A wave produces an outcome

The mechanism that decides the wave is committed to the open record before it runs and provable after. The outcome it produces is recorded openly, with nothing material happening off the record.

  2. 02

    The defined share is calculated

The share is published and consistent — the same proportion of every outcome, not a figure decided after the fact. It is applied as a step of the mechanism, not at someone’s discretion.

  3. 03

It is allocated to a chosen cause

The share is routed to a verified cause the participant chose. The allocation happens automatically; no contribution waits on a manual decision or a separate fundraising round.

  4. 04

The contribution is written to the record

A contribution entry links the outcome it came from to the cause it reached. Anyone can follow that link, before drawing any conclusion about where the benefit went.

How causes are verified

Named openly

Every cause is listed by name on the open record. There are no anonymous destinations and no pooled, unattributed funds — a contribution always reaches a cause you can read.

Vetted before listing

A cause is checked against published standards before it can receive a defined share. Verification is a precondition for being on the record, not a label applied afterward.

Chosen by participants

Participants choose which verified cause their share reaches. The destination is a decision the community makes, recorded alongside the contribution it shaped.

Followable end to end

Each contribution links outcome to cause, so the route is auditable from the moment a wave settles to the moment a cause is reached.

Cause partners and the standards behind them

Cause partners are named on the record, not described in the abstract. Each one met a published standard before a single contribution could reach it, and each remains subject to that standard for as long as it is listed.

The standards cover who a cause is, how it is governed, and how a contribution it receives is accounted for. They are written down so they can be checked and challenged — verification you can inspect, rather than a word we apply to ourselves. The contribution record shows every cause, every linked outcome, and the defined share each received.

Causes are verified and named; the share is published and consistent; the path is yours to follow.
